I am currently working with a fast-growing consumer goods company that is expanding into Europe after their success within the UK. Due to their fast paced growth they are looking for a Director of Order Management to oversee their UK and EU order-to-cash process and Order management teams. This role is best suited to someone looking to drive continuous improvement across customer service, efficiency and cost in an international environment.
Your responsibilities:
- Oversee order-to-cash and order management teams in delivering monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans, for best-in-class service at optimum low costs
- Lead team in identifying any risks early so as to develop and execute modifications
- Develop, manage and lead the Order Management associates, processes and tools
- Be the driver for continuous improvements for EDI processes and tools
- Oversee all retailer chargebacks investigations and ensure future minimization by implementing corrective actions
- Define and deliver against key metrics for E2E Supply Chain, inclusive of on time and in full metrics for retailers
- Elimination of inefficiencies through standardization
- Main point of contact for daily, weekly and monthly shipment, order status and booking communications
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years of order management / Supply Chain leadership with strong functional knowledge and experience in running all aspects of order-to-cash
- Bachelors of relevant discipline
- Previous experience within consumer goods, with B2B experience preferred
- Project management experience
- Proven track record working with 3PL providers to drive operational improvement/efficiency and reduce costs
- Understanding of global/international supply chain dynamics
