A leading Retail company is currently in search of a Director of Transportation to join their rapidly growing team in Houston. You will play a key role in aiding the company's continued growth and leading a team to implement new and innovative strategies.
Key responsibilities of the Director of Global Transportation include:
- Overseeing domestic & international transportation
- Create and implement SOPs in compliance with the DOT regulations
- Work cross-functionally with other departments within Supply Chain and Finance
- Manage a team and vendor relations
Key requirements of the Director of Global Transportation include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 10+ years of experience with domestic & international transportation
- Be a visionary leader with strong relationship building skills
