As a Data Analyst / Sourcing Analyst, you will collaborate with the procurement team or independently carry out various critical tasks aimed at conducting impactful procurement activities within the organization. You will play a key role in overseeing the completion of monthly key tasks by the team and assist the procurement manager during contract negotiations. Additionally, you will conduct market research, provide support in developing category strategies, and assist in driving the implementation of key supplier plans. Whether working independently or in collaboration with the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of procurement activities.
- Collect and analyze relevant data including but not limited to expenditures, supplier performance, and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain good working relationships, promoting cross-departmental collaboration and information sharing.
- Manage multiple project responsibilities and work with team members to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Conduct market research to support the development of category strategies and ensure procurement activities align with market trends and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent Excel analytical skills and ability to handle complex data and information. Proficiency in SQL or PowerBI is a plus.
- Strong structured and logical thinking, sensitivity to data, excellent information synthesis and analysis skills to form clear business insights.
- Knowledge of procurement and sourcing with relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at different levels and backgrounds.
- Strong team player who can coordinate and collaborate within cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
