The client is a Tier-1 consumer EMS who specialize in the electronic technologies space. They are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in electronic component sourcing either in Hong Kong SAR or China. They are expanding their team rapidly within the APAC region and want suitable and qualified candidates to join their growing company.
Key responsibilities:
- Awareness and analysis of continuous market and commodity changes
- Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- In charge of key master data for purchasing by creating and updating on a regular basis
- Occasional travel to Shanghai, China is required
- Demonstrating expertise in procurement and business and implementing skills regularly
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in related discipline
- Minimum 10 years' experience in electric technologies or related field
- Practical experience in sourcing and purchasing of electrical components
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English
- Strong soft skills in communication and negotiation
