Clinical Supply Chain Director - Pharma Industry

Our client, a leading CDMO organization is looking for an individual to join their clinical supply chain team who can lead up their clinical supply chain end to end as well as oversee the clinical supplies staff.
The Clinical Supply Chain Director - Pharma Industry will provide full-service end to end delivery of Clinical Supply Chain needs for assigned projects, including contract negotiation/management, CMO/procurement vendor management, drug forecasting and inventory management, import/export logistics, and budget management/forecasting. The successful candidate will serve as Functional Team Lead performing tasks such as assigning Clinical Supplies related training to the appropriate project team members, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
The Clinical Supply Chain Director - Pharma Industry will:
- Act as a key liaison to other business functions such as medical groups, manufacturing, and outsourced partners to manage the end to end process including clinical supply teams, CROs and Clinical trial sites
- Create, review, and update the clinical supply and demand plans
- Provide as the liaison between internal business functions and clinical trial sites and CRO partners
- Plan/coordinate Vendor activities for scheduling/production of labels & primary/secondary and tertiary packaging
The Clinical Supply Chain Director - Pharma Industry has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- 10+ years of experience with supply chain in a biotech / pharmaceutical environment (required)
- Experience in clinical supply chain needed
- Experience in a start-up clinical supply chain environmental (preferred)
- Pharma/biotech/CRO/CDMO industry experience (required)
