Job Title: Chemical Process Engineer

DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading life sciences organization who are looking to add a Chemical Process Engineer to their team in Florida. In this position you'll be a key member of the operations engineering team responsible for ensuring day-to-day results and developing and executing data-supported, root cause focused action plans. You would be an excellent fit for this role if you have experience supporting special chemical processes, including anodization, nitric acid passivation, and chromate conversion.
As the Chemical Process Engineer, you will:
- Create solutions to repetitive failures and provides troubleshooting support for all anodizing assets/systems.
- Implement optimal, cost-effective processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, quality, and health/safety standards..
- Design, develop and test and/or source and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for manufacturing methods.
- Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment, and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
- Devise and implement preventative and predictive maintenance plans to drive equipment reliability
The Chemical Process Engineer should have the following:
- BS Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, etc)
- 5+ years of experience with special chemical processes
