Through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals, as well as best in class patient support programs, this company is transforming patient care. As the Associate Director of Aseptic Filling, you will lead a team of direct and indirect resources while maintaining the Filling Operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a cross-functional manufacturing team
- Meeting product quality, yield, operating costs and process efficiencies by ensuring products are delivered on-time to customers
- Providing resources to assist department director to meet annual operating plan
- Ensuring consistency in personnel policy administration across the plant
- Responsible for assuring compliances to all regulatory requirements - FDA, OSHA, OFCCP, EPA, and more
- Responsible for preparing and operating within the budget
- Supporting plant-wide strategic plan programs
- Supervising daily manufacturing operations across multiple departments
- Implementing control programs to eliminate product discrepancies
- Working with other managers/customers to ensure quality commitments are met
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree required, science/engineering/related technical field preferred
- 8+ years of related experience (3+ in a management role)
- Management and leadership skills - Demonstrated track record of success within and FDA-regulated manufacturing environment
- Contacts to interact with but not limited to: Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Science, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Support (local and external)
- Ability to manage activities of departments through subordinates who exercise full supervision in terms of cost/methods/employees
- Ability to analyze statistical data and financial reports, as well as resolve technical difficulties
- Organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to resolve highly complex issues in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting
- Experience using MS Office software
- Ability to manage relationships with Vendors and Consultants
